Cynthia Fitting
In 1985, after years of studying printmaking, painting, and art directing, Cynthia decided to start her own business. Since then, Cynthia Fitting Design has provided illustrations and designs to such diverse clients as Ghiradelli Chocolates, The Nature Company, Louis Roderer Champagne, Pentech Art Supplies, HarperCollins Publishing, and Ernest & Julio Gallo.
Most of Cynthia’s art is executed in gouache, a water-based pigment that is easily controlled and handles like watercolor or paint. This diversity means the medium is very forgiving and allows for change once her work begins.
Cynthia is an avid reader, traveler, and fly fisherman, and her imagination continues to grow. Her works are truly wonderful and widely collected. She can be reached at cfitting@aol.com if you would like more information.

Fitting is very fond of javalinas. If you look close, you'll see a javalina near the tree. They are known to eat insects, grubs, and occasionally small animals, although their preferred foods consist of roots, grasses, seeds, fruit, and cacti, particularly prickly pear. |
